Change in the D and F Literature exams:
Please note the following change in instructions on the D and F literature modules:
In the literature exam, there is a list of six HOTS for students to choose from to answer the justification questions. Students, however, can choose to use a HOTS from the Literature Handbook that is not on the list. (posted Apr. 5)
Please note: There was a mistake on the Table of Specifications that has now been corrected. In module A there is no change: The listening comprehension is worth 30 points and the reading comprehension is worth 70 points. This is the correct version of the Table of Specifications. (posted Apr. 2)

LD Oral Exam for the Literature Modules - Summer 2012
Based on feedback we received regarding students that took the LD oral literature module in the winter moed, it has been decided on the following format for the oral LD exam for the summer moed:
Module D: Students will not answer the questions in Part Two. Module F: Students will not answer 1 LOTS question and 1 HOTS question without the justification in Parts One and Two.
The specific instructions, together with the instructions for the other modules, will be posted prior to the date of the exam on the site of the English Inspectorate.
Extension Date for Submitting the Grades of the Log
In the areas where school has not been taking place due to the bombings, it has been decided that schools can hand in the the grades on the 9540 form to the tachanot klita no later than June 7, 2012. Please notify the English Inspector of your school. (posted Mar.18)

Changes in the Table of Specifications for Summer 2012
The length of the written texts has been changed for the following modules as of Summer 2012:
Module A – Length of written texts– up to 380 words for both texts together
Module B – Length of written texts– up to 290 words
Module C – Length of written texts– up to 360 words
Module D – Length of written texts– up to 350 words
Module E – Length of written texts– up to 380 words

Reminder about Reporting the Grades of the Log
On page 43 of the Literature Handbook it is written:
The red 9540 form with the final grades for the Literature Program for the Log needs to be given to the tachana klita in the summer moed only (a day before the date of the English Bagrut exam or on the day of the English Bagrut exam). A copy of the form needs to be kept at school.
